The following is the national, state and local websites for the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).  I am a member of this organization and I feel that it has helped to keep me informed of new information concerning early childhood.  NAEYC has also provided me with needed resources and gives opportunities to build networks among colleagues.  It also offers learning and research opportunities.

  1. Hello Catherine,
Thank you for your post. NAEYC is a very valuable resource for all early childhood practitioners at any level. I believe that your division of infant and toddler services is more active than the one in my state. Infant and toddler care is so important and unfortunately is often overlooked.

  2. Thank you for sharing! NRVAECE is similar to the California Association for the Education of Young Children. This organization has very similar missions for children and their families. I am finding it so exciting to that children and their families are offered similar quality early childhood resources throughout the nation…the organizations just have different names. Our society is on its way to providing quality learning experiences to all children and their families across the nation. I wish you well on the job opportunity!! Earning a M.S. is going to open so many doors for you!
